Hey, I'm

Hannah Witt

Running coaching for busy, comeback, and newer runners who want to build confidence, stay healthy, and train smarter.

Work With Hannah

I know firsthand how difficult it can be to balance training with work, family, and everyday life. I’ve been the runner squeezing in miles before sunrise, battling desk-job stiffness, and wondering how to train consistently without feeling exhausted all the time. Learning how to train smarter instead of just harder completely changed my relationship with running. Once I began prioritizing purposeful workouts, recovery, and long-term consistency over perfection, I became a stronger and more confident athlete.

My Coaching

Today, I help runners of all levels reach their goals, from first 5Ks and comeback races to personal bests and podium finishes in ultramarathons. My coaching blends evidence-based training with real-world experience so that running can fit into your life, not take it over.

With a background in personal training and group fitness, I bring a strong focus on strength, mobility, recovery, and mindset into the coaching process. I work with athletes ranging from young adults discovering the sport to runners pursuing lifelong fitness well into their 70s and 80s. No matter the goal, my coaching is built around helping athletes stay healthy, build confidence, and make steady progress they can actually maintain.

I especially enjoy working with runners who are:
- new to running and building a strong foundation
- returning after time away or injury
- balancing training with demanding schedules
- preparing for trail races and ultramarathons
- looking to improve durability, confidence, and race-day execution

My Partnerships

As an official coaching partner with Dirty Wolf Racing, I also work closely with runners preparing for some of the most demanding and rewarding trail races in Western North Carolina. From first 50Ks to rugged mountain ultras, I help athletes develop the endurance, fueling strategy, pacing skills, and resilience needed to handle technical terrain and long days on the trail with confidence.

Runners registered for a Dirty Wolf Racing event receive a free 30-minute coaching consultation and 10% off coaching services to help them prepare intentionally and train sustainably for race day.
